If you are looking for an affordable, and convenient studio to shoot your green screen project – we may be just what you are after. Our green infinity screen cove is 17 feet wide by over 20 feet deep, has a full studio lighting grid (around 3.5m high) – and is lit specifically for green screen shooting with pure white flourescents.
If you are looking to film in green screen please contact the studio as we have various configurations for chroma key. Most of the time the studio is in white infinity cove with an automated green screen infinity background (5m x 8m x 3m) specially imported from the USA and used by the likes of Disney and Warner. It’s not a cloth as such but a material specifically designed for green screen so it allows us to move between white and green easily for the perfect key.
Behind the green screen area is the studio blackout screen which allows camera operators plenty of room to pull back on the shot. With tracks and dolly and jibs, unlike other smaller green screens, you have the space to allow fluidity for your green screen creation.
Many studios will appear to offer a low dry hire rate, and then the kicker is the costs for all the equipment and lighting. Whilst some equipment does cost extra, green screen lighting is included in your hire charges as is the use of our studio microphone boom.
You can hire the green screen by the day (10 hours) half day (5 hours) and we also offer one day a week for a three hour period of £199 (plus vat) – There are three slots on our discount day. To do this we start early and finish late.
And if you are not certain about how to shoot green screen, we can have a professional camera operator shoot if for you and provide the output file. (Operator and camera are additional charges)
Here is an example of the studio using our imported Green Screen from the USA. It hides in the overhead lighting gantry and comes down on a roller. It keys perfectly, is very large and allows us to go from white to green in minutes and saves you having to hire additional studio space. We have found the format to be perfect and wide, deep and high enough to cope with every green screen shoot we have had. Its not a cloth fabric as such, more like a foam backed specific green which means that there are no folds or creases. Naturally we can paint the entire studio too if you really want to.
